Sorry… this time I will be more serious and frank to face our human nature and myself.
What's happened to us?!!
Did we run out of magnanimity or we just get use to see what happen daily…so it becomes something expectable to us. I'm talking here about what people of Palestine face now and before and in future. I don't want to go deeper to politics and self-interests. I want to speak about us… as commoners…I stopped watching news for a while, but today I watched news and I saw that the series of killing and destroying is still going on in Palestine.
Did I let them down by running away….
did I help them even by thinking and praying.
Why I'm thinking about World Cup and who's going to win. While there are more dirty games going elsewhere.
I wrote about this case in my other blog, but not here…I should tell you my true feelings…I feel I'm useless and I let down my family there.
I'm grateful to be Omani … living in peaceful land and breathing the real freedom every single day, but we should think about others…

What you say is really true Sama dear, at the moment 150 Israeli tanks are waiting for full invasion of Gaza. 2 thirds of Gaza is without electricity, and we are happily celebrating world cup victory. I was actually planning to write the exact same post. We pray for their success Inshallah...

No.. but bcoze I’m seeing & watching this on TV since I was a little child ..Starting from the 1 gulf war .., the war in Iraq , Palestine , terrorism all over the world .
Some time I think.. is that I don't have a heart? Or what?..!!
But I really feel sad for them & wish that all the sufferance, hunger & the illness will be end so that the anger that causing the violence will end too..
There is no wrong if I want to be happy in my life or even celebrating world cup victory, but the wrong is keep ignoring that there is other ppl are deprived from the things maybe I shall deem her as things comes in the second grade..
I really feel sorry for theme & for my self.

Nash Dear. I felt awful and I don't know what happened to me…I decided to write here to express my feelings and to say I didn't forget… we became cold with our feelings. We try to find anyone to blame…we blame others to feel comfortable…to put the burden on others.
ReplyDeleteHope this situation will end peacefully even thought I doubt about that. I added new picture for little 6 years old girl killed by Israeli missile with her mother and her big brother in their house. How awful to see that everywhere. And feel you are useless and has nothing to do to help. I watched this on TV…it was more awful because they were in the house where the family fallen.
Oh Nash Dear…I can't do that…you should know that's impossible… how I can go publicly and say Blog-A , Blog-B and Blog-C are all mine and for one girl. You must be kidding!! As I told you …only 2 girls know my blogs…AP-F and Abeer…even my dear close cousin know nothing about my blog…I didn't tell her all my secrets!
Nooon Dear. Yes…we have get use to watch and try to forget…maybe pretend to have forgotten because it's a daily series and there is no day without new fallen people from Palestine, Iraq and many other places.
At least, I did good thing here by post this about them... reminding others and me about them… there are people surrounded and starved not far away from us.

Micho: who said I didn't talk about that…I did that, but not here. Well, it's also another thorny case for me as I use to have at least 3 friends from Iraq…now I know nothing about them. All of them disappeared except one girl. The other girls never contacted me since the war began. I tried to contact them, but all my efforts were useless. I know if I will start, I will not stop. It's make me angry and depressed…especially with countless crimes, scandals of soldiers and even the new government against peaceful people.
