حققت المهندسة الكويتية منار الحشاش انجازا علميا كبيرا باختيارها لعضوية مجلس
إدارة منظمة جائزة قمة الأمم المتحدة المعلوماتية, وقد بعث أمير الكويت الشيخ صباح
الأحمد الجابر الصباح ببرقية تهنئة لها ، مشيدا بإسهاماتها ونشاطاتها في مجال
الحاسوب وشبكة المعلومات الالكترونية. كما أعربت وزيرة المواصلات الدكتورة معصومة
صالح المبارك عن الاعتزاز لحصول دولة الكويت على عضوية مجلس إدارة مشروع المبادرة
العالمية (جائزة قمة الأمم المعلوماتية) واختيار المهندسة الحشاش عضوا في هذا
المجلس.وقالت المبارك في مؤتمر صحافي بهذه المناسبة إن ذلك يشرف الكويت لكون
المهندسة منار الحشاش تمثل مجتمع الشباب في هذه المؤسسة التي تدعمها الأمم المتحدة.
وأعربت الدكتورة معصومة عن السعادة لاقتحام الشباب الكويتي مجال العلم ومزاحمة
العلماء ليحقق وبجدارة مكانا بينهم. وأشارت إلى تبني الشباب لرؤى واضحة المعالم
وابتكار الوسائل والغايات لا من اجل شيء سوى تنمية المجتمع وإتاحة الفرصة للجميع في
الحصول على المعرفة المعلوماتية بين شعوب العالم.وقالت أن المهندسة منار الحشاش أول
عربية من منطقة الشرق الأوسط يتم اختيارها لتشارك خبراء من 170 دولة عضو في هذه
المؤسسة وذلك لما تتمتع به من الخبرة والدراية والرؤية الواضحة للمستقبل وروح
المبادرة والابتكار في المشاريع التنموية الخاصة بمجتمع المعلومات والاتصالات.
وأوضحت أن المهندسة منار حصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة الحاسب الآلي
(الكومبيوتر) ودرجة الماجستير في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة الكويت وبهذا تكون فخرا
للجامعة وردا على المشككين بمستوى خريجي جامعة الكويت.وأفادت أن المهندسة منار
الحشاش عملت لأكثر من سبع سنوات في مجال تطوير وتنمية النشر الإعلامي المرئي
والمسموع في المجتمع من خلال إنشاء وإدارة مبادرات إعلامية ومسابقات علمية وبرامج
تدريبية ومنتديات ثقافية ونشاطات اجتماعية. ونوهت إلى انه وقع الاختيار عليها من
قبل مجلس إدارة جائزة قمة الأمم المتحدة تكريما وتقديرا لدورها في إثراء المحتوى
العلمي لوسائط الاتصالات والمعلومات وأملاً في النهوض والرقى بالمجتمع إلى أعلى
المستويات. وأضافت أن جائزة القمة العالمية أنشئت في عام 2003 في إطار مبادئ القمة
التي عقدت في جنيف عام 2003 وتونس في عام 2005 وتهدف إلى نشر الوعي والمعرفة بين
أفراد المجتمع وتمكين الجميع سواء المحرومون أو المتمكنون من الوصول إلى منابع
المعرفة والاستفادة منها بالتساوي وهو يطلق عليه (تضييق الفجوة المعلوماتية) على
مستوى العالم.وأكدت أن المؤسسين لهذا الصرح التنموي اخذوا مسؤولية نشر ومكافأة
الأعمال الإبداعية المبتكرة والمميزة في مجال المحتوى العلمي لوسائط الاتصالات
والمعلومات والإعلام. وأعربت الدكتورة معصومة عن تمنياتها للمهندسة منار بالتوفيق
في هذه المهمة الوطنية والإنسانية وان يحقق الشباب الكويتي مراكز عليا محليا
وعالميا.من جانبها قالت المهندسة منار أن حصول الكويت على عضوية مجلس الإدارة من
شأنه التأثير على السياسة العامة لهذه المنظمة ما يجعل للرأي الإسلامي والعربي
حضورا لقضايا تكنولوجيا المعلومات. وقالت إن جائزة القمة المعلوماتية تقوم بتنظيم
مسابقة الأمم المتحدة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات بالتعاون مع منظمتي الأمم المتحدة
للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (يونيسكو) والتنمية الصناعية (يونيدو) وتوزع جوائز هذه
المسابقة مرة كل سنتين في حفل يحضره كبار المسئولين في الدول المشاركة في قمة الأمم
المتحدة للمعلوماتية.وأضافت أن أعضاء مجلس إدارة هذه الجائزة هم من الخبراء
العالميين البارزين في مجال المعلوماتية والاتصالات الذين ويقوم كل عضو بتقديم
النصائح والتوصيات والجهد لتطوير جائزة القمة العالمية على مستوى العالم.
